There ARE NO COINCIDENCES In Obama-land August 12th, 2009

Whomever tries to claim that “town hall meetings” at which Obama appears are made up of grass roots people who are randomly chosen to ask questions is lying through their teeth or haven’t a clue. I believe the proper term now being used for the planted and controlled audiences at these meetings is “astroturfing.” This is a relatively new term defined as intentionally creating an illusions of a spontaneous or random political grassroots movement or grouping when in fact it was all staged and organized with planted individuals and organized people suppporting the cause represented. Rather than being true grassroots, it’s artificial hence the term for artificial grass “Astroturf.” Read some of the latest astroturfing from the Obama administration.

More examples of the status quo Chicago-style politics and fraud from Obama. So much for that change he promised. Whatta phony.

    A Quick Random Thought August 10th, 2009

I find it highly ironic that the most comfortable shoes I own are also the ones I have paid the least. One pair I got on clearance with an added 30% off. Another pair I got at a local clothing outlet shop for probably $40-50 less than if I bought a similar pair at the local mega shoe store. And a third pair that I got in Gulfport, Mississippi at an outlet mall while the mall was having a mall-wide 50% off sale and the store from where I found the shoes was selling them for 30% off THAT.

Don’t know what it all means, but it’s just a thought.

    Liberal Double-Standards On Parade August 7th, 2009

    Remember this?

Sure didn’t hear any complaints from liberals about those. Not one. Not a peep. Instead liberals defended the over-the-top attacks and laughed about them. However now we have the following:

And the uber-libs are going absolutely bananas accusing conservatives of all sorts of things for such images of their dear messiah…er…leader. The level of hypocrisy shown by the left who applauded and chortled at the absolutely over-the-top maliciousness and hatefulness shown against President Bush in graphics like those above is mind-boggling. The liberals are throwing their hatred and malice against those who have created and display graphics of President Obama like the three displayed here. These graphics of President Obama cannot reasonably and rationally be considered to be anywhere near the level of viciousness shown by the countless vile graphics made and displayed of President Bush that the left in this country condoned. Hypocrisy, thy name is liberalism.

More liberal hypocrisy brought to my attention: 2000-2008: dissenting against the President and his administration as well as its policies was considered “patriotic” by liberals — 2008 – present: dissenting against the President and his administration as well as its policies is considered “unpatriotic,” “racist,” “bigotted,” “evil,” “intolerant,” “ignorant”, “terroristic,” “un-American,” etc. by liberals and should be silenced according to liberal extremists. It’s weird and ironic how some of “1984” is coming true but rather than from a conservative administration as liberal predicted for years it’s actually manifesting itself bit by bit in an ultra-liberal administration. “Big Brother” is watching for anything “fishy.”

    UPDATE

Of all people, Hillary Clinton has slammed Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer for questioning the patriotism of dissenting Americans.

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Oh wait…that quote from Clinton was from 2003 when the administration was Republican.

    Hypocritical nuance.

Read more examples of various liberals who now oppose dissention supporting dissention during the Bush administration.

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (Movie) August 6th, 2009

After watching advertisements for the upcoming movie The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard I am reminded of the 1980 film starring Kurt Russell and Jack Warden called Used Cars. Although The Goods is not a remake of Used Cars, it’s easy to believe the makers of The Goods took a lot of the ideas from Used Cars. For whatever it’s worth, I don’t plan on seeing The Goods.
