The Culture Of Corruption Revisited

Why Don't We Hear Much About The Culture Of Corruption Anymore From Liberals?

I still remember when Nancy Pelosi promised to rid the Senate of the “Culture Of Corruption” and how so many liberals accused Republicans and the Republican Party of being the “Culture of Corruption.” Ain’t it funny how they get real quiet when their own members are exposed as being extremely corrupt?

A tip o’ the cap to The People’s Cube for the heads up.

“when their own members are exposed as being extremely corrupt” !!!

If these Democrats are your idea of “extremely corrupt” then you will need a whole new vocabulary to describe the Republican politicians whom I feature at http://JesusNoRepublican.Org !!!!

This “cube” is so assinine that I will feature it on my http://JesusNoRepublican.Org/ page as an example of how silly Republican efforts are at trying to paint Democrats as corrupt.

By the way, for over a year when people Googled “Republcan corruption” or “corrupt Republicans”, etc. the very first page that was recommended was my very own http://LiberalsLikeChrist.Org/gopcorruption.html, the original name for my http://JesusNoRepublican.Org page. So you can ignore this page if you like, but that won’t prevent many OTHERS from discovering it and sharing it.

  7. Carl Says:

Well Rev. Ray, thank you for proving once again how liberals like yourself routinely distort facts, fabricate things, make false accusations and show such hatred towards others (namely conservatives and conservatism). Your agenda is not even hidden but in plain view. IMHO, corruption is in politics and is committed by people from all political stripes but you, in your intentional blindness to that fact, choose to disingenuously make it appear that liberals are quite clean. You even attempt to change definitions in mid-stream applying one definition of “corruption” to conservatives while applying a much watered-down definition to liberals. You sir, are part of the problem and not part of the solution and your materials only go to hurt rather than heal. If this is the way you see Jesus Christ, then Satan has truly clouded your heart, your mind and your judgment. Jesus said He was “the way, the truth and the life” (a very conservative stance incidentally) not “a way, a truth and a life.” Your insistance in placing Christ in a political box is deplorable and decidely unholy and unGodly, sir. You need some spiritual help.

Also I find it highly telling that you conveniently turn a blind eye to the corruption by such as not only those named in the graphic but also Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Henry Cisneros, William Jefferson, Ernest Newton, Barack Obama, Clarence Norman Jr., Jim Black, Glen Dale “Hound Dog” Adkins, Donald Siegelman, Frank Ballance, Garey Ballance, Chuck Chvala, Brett Pfeffer, Raymond Reggie, Mike Nifong, Thomas Wright, George Tatum, Ronald Hewett, Paul Miller, Kevin Geddings, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Meg Scott Phipps, Glen Maynor, Sammy Rivera, Alfred Steele, Mims Hackett Jr., Marcellus Jackson, Al Franken, Rahm Emanuel, Dianne Feinstein, Steny Hoyer, Alan Mollohan, John Murtha, Nancy Pelosi, Mary Landrieu, Charles Rangel, Bob Filner, James P. Moran Jr., Raul Martinez, Geoffrey Fieger, Neil Abercrombie, Barbara Boxer, John Conyers, Howard Dean, Dick Durbin, Edwin Edwards, Kathleen Blanco, Maxine Waters, Cynthia McKinney, Michael Moore, John Edwards, George Soros, Arianna Huffington, Paul Begala, Shirley Franklin, Sheila Jackson Lee, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

I could very well add many more corrupt liberals and frankly, sir, I doubt seriously you could match the number in corresponding conservatives who are corrupt. There are plenty to choose from but the numbers clearly show and overwhelming majority of know corrupt politicians nationwide are of the liberal persuasion. However apparently being corrupt in the Democrat Party is a resumé enhancer and not considered a detriment. Another reason why the Democrat Party is in the toilet.

To other readers of this comment, I recommend the following books to read in regards to this:

“Caucus of Corruption: The Truth about the New Democratic Majority” by Matt Margolis & Mark Noonan
“Bamboozled: How Americans are being Exploited by the Lies of the Liberal Agenda” by Angela McGlowan
“Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning” by Jonah Goldberg
“Crazies to the Left of Me, Wimps to the Right: How One Side Lost Its Mind and the Other Lost Its Nerve” by Bernard Goldberg

Oh, and BTW Rev. Ray, before you assume (and I expect you already have), I am actually a staunch conservative registered as, get this….

    A DEMOCRAT!!!

Frankly, I’ve given up on the nationa Democrat Party and would like to register as an Independent but the county in which I live makes it extremely difficult to change political affiliation. I have lost faith with the Republican Party as well and am no fan of John McCain either but have to admit that he’s a better choice, albeit by not much of a margin, than Clinton or Obama. However IMHO, I feel that regardless who gets elected in November, the United States is in for a very rough four years at the very least.

You’ve given up on the Democratic party! Good for you, Carl. It’s not the same party it used to be and that’s an understatement. Neither is the Republican Party, but at least we’re not socialists. I’m not all that happy with McCain either, but he does beat either Clinton or Obama. I can’t believe they are the two candidates left standing. I agree we are in for a rough four years regardless who gets elected, but with McCain at least we have a chance of surviving the next four years.

  15. Carl Says:

Gayle, when I was a kid growing up in the southern United States, the Democrat Party was indeed much more conservative especially in the south than it is today. Today’s Democrat party, at least on a national level, has gone beyond even liberalism and is crossing over into abject socialism. This frightens me.

The Republican Party, on the national level, used to be a viable alternative but they seem to have lost their way. For example, they used to oppose bigger government yet now have been voting for bills that create bigger government. Also they used to be for less government spending but lately they’ve been voting for bills that increase government spending. These are just a couple of many reasons why I have lost confidence in the Republican Party.

I have no interest in the fringe parties either (Libertarian, Green, etc.).

So although I am unabashedly conservative, I would much rather be a registered independent although in doing so I would no longer be allowed to vote in Presidential primaries here in Florida. However the local elections office makes it physically difficult to change parties so I remain a registered Democrat even though I reject them on a national level.
