Looking for anything on the Web is exactly like prospecting...you have to go through a lot of plain old ordinary dirt and rocks to find the good stuff! Here's a list of my favorite fanfics for DBZ/GT, Slayers, Wild ARMS and Odds & Ends.

Stuff you won't find here: my own fics, silliness, crossovers (with VERY few exceptions), PWP's, songfics, poetry, any mega-fics with less than FIVE chapters finished, anything that is a real pain to read (bad grammar, poor spelling, not in English, "squint font," "too gross," weak plot, no character development, BaD tYpOgRaPhY).

(If anyone is wondering, I'm still slogging through fanfiction.net and haven't looked at any of the fics on filgaia.com. Yet. Nor have I gotten even halfway through "Redemption").

This page is pretty much permanently under construction.

And here's the key:

Jewels -- great ideas exquisitely crafted, usually very long fics. Rarest of the bunch. "Jewels" are so special they each get their own graphic.

Gold nuggets -- very good, usually longer, fics.

Silver nuggets -- worth reading

Rating -- This page is for fanfics rated G - R. Lemons have their own page.

Zelgadis on the Couch and Zelgadis on the Road			Very, very good fics. ZotR will never be finished because the Queen of Swords has given up writing fanfics to pursue professional endeavors. We wish her all the best.

A Flower Whose Name I Don't Know Yet		A classic from someone best known for "Jewel"-quality fanart. Only a few grammatical errors keep it from the gold. Worth a read, and finished. It's a very unusual pairing. The last sequel is a lemon but has a warning page. The author deserves some slack because her native language isn't English.

The Story of Zed in St. Centaur			All right, I have a weakness for Zed fics. That said, this is one of the best Zed fics you'll ever read.

The Birds, the Bees, and So Forth			Gremio blushes and stammers his way through THAT talk with the Young Master, who is 10 years old in this charming fic.

Forever Young			Ties up a plot twist I always wondered about. By the same author as "The Birds, the Bees, and So Forth."

The Burden of Hope			An excellent prequel to the Mirai storyline by Demisaiyanprodigy.

ElfQuest: Hidden Years, issue 1		Not a fanfic but a comic book sample online. I chose this issue because it's completely online, unlike the samples of their other titles. Very nicely done. May take awhile to load each image if you're using a dialup connection.
