One Of The Reasons Why I Don’t Vote Democrat In National Elections

Quite a clever ad and mostly correct. I will have to disagree on Zucker’s omission of the fact that Republicans nowadays are just as guilty of overspending in Congress. Coincidentally, according to various polls, the number of U.S. citizens disatisfied with BOTH Democrats and Republicans has more than doubled in just the past six months. Interesting, eh? Consider me among those who are disastisfied with both. No wonder Congress has the lowest approval rating ever. It’s sad there is no viable alternative at this time. I wish “none of the above” was a choice on all Presidential ballots this November. If it were, I wonder how many votes Mr. Above would get.

  1. David Says:

That’s Mr. Nota (None of the Above).

I’ve been suggesting for quite some time now that folks pressure their own state reps to get amendments to their STATE constitutions requiring

    1. NOTA be listed as an option on EVERY ballot position for office
    2. If NOTA received a plurality, then ALL other candidates listed on the ballot for that office would be disqualified and a new slate issued.

I’d probably vote a straight NOTA ticket for a decade just to clear out some of the political effluvia…
