Tracking Tropical Storm Fay (August 18, 2008)

Tropical Storm Fay tracking as of August 18, 2008

Tropical Storm Fay is puttering right along and currently is bringing rain and several weather to portions of south Florida. Meteorologists are predicting it will reach hurricane strength (75 mph sustained winds) sometime today. Projected paths still haven’t changed all that much with Tallahassee still being on the far western side of possible paths. Maybe we’ll get some rain from it around here.

UPDATE: The 11pm tracking projection has shifted a pretty good distance eastward taking Tallahassee out of the picture. We may not even see any rain from it.
