Tracking Tropical Storm Fay (August 21, 2008)

Newer tracking charts show slow-moving Fay heading directly towards us in Tallahassee, then heading to Pensacola then around Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I’ve got relatives all along the projected path. And when I say “slow-moving” I mean SLOW. It moved about five miles from about 5am this morning to noon. That’s allowing the storm to drop massive amounts of rain causing serious flooding. Local meteorologists aren’t sure how long it will take for the storm to reach Tallahassee but they’ve moved the timeframe back from Friday to Saturday.
