Stop Sylvia Browne

Now here’s an interesting website called “Stop Sylvia Browne.” Sylvia Browne, for those who don’t know, is a self-proclaimed “psychic” who has a lengthy history of false predictions and proven false psychic readings. One notable falsehoods of Browne’s is her February, 2003 appearance on the Montel Williams TV show where she told the parents of missing Shawn Hornbeck that he was dead and that the killer was a dark-skinned tall thin man, probably Hispanic. Turned out Shawn Hornbeck was alive and his kidnapper turned out to be an overweight white guy. Browne is merely another fraud in a long line of frauds claiming to be psychic. Apparently the Stop Sylvia Browne site has attracted the attention of Browne and her lawyers because they are now attempting to shut down the site.
