There ARE NO COINCIDENCES In Obama-land
Whomever tries to claim that “town hall meetings” at which Obama appears are made up of grass roots people who are randomly chosen to ask questions is lying through their teeth or haven’t a clue. I believe the proper term now being used for the planted and controlled audiences at these meetings is “astroturfing.” This is a relatively new term defined as intentionally creating an illusions of a spontaneous or random political grassroots movement or grouping when in fact it was all staged and organized with planted individuals and organized people suppporting the cause represented. Rather than being true grassroots, it’s artificial hence the term for artificial grass “Astroturf.” Read some of the latest astroturfing from the Obama administration.
