New Orleans Saints — A Long Season Starts
Tonight, the New Orleans Saints play the Indianapolis Colts for the first game of their regular season. It’s a road game for the Saints and the Colts are the defending world champions. The game will be televised on NBC but unfortunately I work the night shift so I won’t be able to watch it. Major bummer. My wife will tape it for me (yes, I still use VHS, I don’t have tivo nor a recordable DVD unit) and I’ll watch parts of it when I get home late at night. Also the dress code for employees is business casual so I can’t wear any of my Saints jerseys at work.
However there is no dress code for my chair so it’s going to wear a Reggie Bush jersey during my shift in support of the Saints.
FINAL SCORE: Colts 41 — Saints 10
Fifteen more games left in the season. Hopefully the Saints will get their act together otherwise it’s a long season.

Grammar, Punctuation, Spacing and You
I know how to type spaces between my words.
I know how to put periods at the end of sentences.
I know not to start sentences with “and” (ok, so sometimes I break that rule, but I do so deliberately and always capitalize the initial word).

*Tears* How are you doing, Carl? I had put down the Colts to win, because they were showing well in the pre-season. Then I remembered that Reggie Bush was on the Saints team. The score was 10-10, and it was before 1/2 time. So what did I do? I changed my ‘bet.’ (I don’t actually bet, I just pick the teams I think will win.) *Tears*
