Football Roundup

Saturday, the Mississippi State Bulldogs traveled down to New Orleans to face the Tulane Green Wave. And they left with a 38-17 win. Early in the game, MSU looked pretty bad but managed to get things together offensively quickly and managed to stay pretty sharp throughout the game. Their record is now 1-1. The Bulldogs will be on the road to play Auburn next Saturday with a kickoff time of 12:30pm EDT.

Florida State’s first home game of the season was against University of Alabama Birmingham which they won 34-24. After losing last week to Clemson, a win is a good thing but beating UAB by only 10 points is not a good sign. UAB is not a very good team and FSU once again struggled mightily on offense. FSU defensive secondary also had troubles on several occassions. Next week FSU plays Colorado in Boulder (kickoff at 10pm EDT on ESPN) and if they play the way they did against Clemson and UAB, the chances of beating Colorado is going to be slim.

And for whatever it’s worth, the Saints don’t play again until next Sunday when they travel to Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers with a kickoff time of 1pm EDT. Let’s hope the Saints can take the extra time to fix the problems exposed during last Thursday’s embarrassing loss to the Colts.

George Washington was a Terrorist
Mos Def confuses treason with terrorism. As far as the King was concerned, George Washington and his fellow separatists were traitors, not terrorists since the Continental army never attacked civilians

The first I heard of this it was about the eerie similarity between OBL’s rants and the Democrat or Liberal talking points, in this case as stated by Keith Olbermann.
