CURRENTLY READING: “The Grace Awakening” by Charles R. Swindoll

I’ve been reading this book by Charles Swindoll in my spare time (what little I have) and have been enjoying it. It’s been teaching me about God’s Grace from the Bible and how God’s Grace applies to a believer’s life. I haven’t finished it yet nor do I feel qualified to offer forth any detailed review but I can honestly and sincerely recommend it to all my Christian brethren.

Hi Carl. I pray everything is going well with you. Did you have a nice Independence Day? I hope so. I did. I had a chance to wave my flag, which I seldom get to do because I live in an apartment. There’s no place for me put it where it will be seen! Oh well. When the market adjusts itself enough, I want to get a house. How is it where you live? I’m looking for a place somewhere on the eastern seaport, but not in a flood zone. I want to live near a lake, even if I have to buy it! WOW. Imagine having that much money? I can’t! lol. God bless your family and you. ;)

Hey Carl, I saw your post on Tim Challies’ blog about adding John Stott to your list of reliable authors. His most well-known book is The Cross of Christ, a great book that I personally highly recommend. The entire book is an exposition on the atonement, its nature, purpose, etc. Excellent.
