New Orleans Saints 27 — Minnesota Vikings 30

Bummer! Martin Grammatica may not be in a Saints uniform next year if he can’t kick better than he has lately. He may not be on the roster before the year is out. Reggie Bush looked particularly good against the Vikings with flashes of brilliance. If he could just be consistent. However penalties and some really stupid mistakes and questionable play calling late in the game truly cost the Saints. The pass interference which lead to the Vikings’ go-ahead field goal late in the 4th quarter was particularly frustrating.

Was the pass interference call frustrating because Jason David got burned and Kaesviharn had to run across the field to cover for him? They instantly saw 42 on the field and attacked. That’s a problem. So is Martin.
