College Football Roundup — November 3, 2007

To start off, the Florida A&M Rattlers squeaked by with a 24-21 homecoming win over North Carolina A&T.

As of this entry’s creation, FSU is leading Boston College 7-0 in the third quarter. An update will occur later.
SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: Just found out this morning that FSU managed to pull off the upset beating Boston College up in Boston in terrible weather conditions by a score of 27-17. I went to bed before the game concluded (I was exhausted) and one of the announcers opined that with a brand-new coaching staff, it’s going to take time before the team gets better. I hope that a game like this is an indication of where FSU is headed.

The Bulldogs have a bye week this week and will play the Alabama Crimson Tide on the MSU campus next week.

Ex-Saudi Ambassador Blames US for 9/11
The wise Saudis have informed us that 7/7 was the fault of the UK, and 9/11 is now our fault. How convenient. JW: Saudi Arabia could have helped the United States prevent al Qaeda’s 2001 attacks on New York and

And, of course, it will be our fault . . .
An interesting article in the Miami Herald yesterday states:
The rapid escalation of the U.S. anti-immigration hysteria — fueled by ratings-hungry cable-television hotheads and leading Republican presidential hopefuls — is a dangerous trend…
