It’s ironic that on Halloween I came across this from a catalogue my wife received in today’s mail. Words cannot adequately describe how ridiculous the dingle-ball hat and the matching dingle-ball jacket. I’ll just let the picture speak for itself.

It’s halloween. Getting ready to pass out sugary goodness to the kiddies. That’ll make dentists happy and in business. I really like these songs by Doug & The Slugs. They were a Canadian band from the 80’s that never got the recognition they truly deserved. I managed to get most of their lp’s back then and have all the available CD’s. Some of the old lp’s haven’t been released on CD but I hope they will. I’d love to see a new Doug & the Slugs boxed set come out sometime.

As most readers of this blog know, I have been and still am a huge professional wrestling fan. Been that way since the late 60’s when I was a little rug rat living in the Mississippi Delta. My alltime favorite wrestling manager has always been Percival Pringle III. This tribute was put together by a fan and Percy has it on his blog. I also wanted to highlight it here. For younger wrestling fans, you might recognize him in another “identity” in the video.

Interesting and funny alternate ending to The Lord Of The Rings might have ended if someone had noticed the major plot flaw. A major tip o’ the cap to my wonderful wife for discovering this little gem.
